Effect of essential oils blend inclusion on performance and HSP70 gene expression in broilers chickens under chronic heat stress

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects inclusion a blend essential oils (capsaicin, carvacrol, cinnamaldehyde and eugenol) in broiler submitted thermal stress. Performance parameters gene expression heat shock protein (HSP70) were evaluated liver jejunum. Regarding performance, animals subjected stress had lower feed intake weight gain higher conversion. 3% increased HSP70 jejunum 42 days old chickens.
